As the founder of Royal Oak Floors, Kim Harper is driven by a deep connection to the beauty, craftsmanship and longevity of European oak. His passion for the material began during his days as an antique furniture restorer, where he first learned to appreciate timber that only grows richer with age. More than 20 years later, that same appreciation continues to shape his approach to every collection he creates.

Kim brought engineered oak flooring to Australia, seeing the potential to bring enduring quality and sustainability to the nation’s interiors — floors designed not just for how a home looks today, but for how it will be lived in for decades to come.
