InterContinental Hotel, Sydney
This multi-million dollar refurbishment of Sydney’s iconic InterContinental is befitting of a five-star heritage hotel. Woods Bagot integrated and enhanced the old and new elements of the building.
“The heritage architecture gave us a beautiful palette of colours, textures and classic geometries – crafted in sandstone, brickwork, timber,” says Interior Design Leader Tracey Wiles.
The Dark Oak engineered floors in a herringbone design captures the heritage features and is a striking addition to the hotel’s rooftop Aster Bar and restaurant.
